The Cutest Little Pirate Ship You've Ever Seen

When it comes down to it I'll take a drawing out 200 pages for an animation over computer any day. But that doesn't mean I'm not a fan of After Effects, one can only look at a computer screen for so long sometimes. But I need to show off my versatility animating wise for my demo reel so I put together this little animation of a pirate ship sailing about the sea. I like to think there is a stockhold of really tiny rum on board.

And to make the visuals a little more interesting I used watercolors and some random materials to make the designs. If you look close enough the tentacles are made out of stock photos of pink fish scales and crocodile skin.
