With the new decade off to a slow start nerds are already looking forward to April for the arrival of Millar and Romita Jr.'s comic creation brought to the silver screen. If you're not familiar with those two names than you probably don't know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the soon to be movie "Kick-Ass". I assume anyone who reads this blog already knows what Kick-Ass is about, if not just check out the latest trailer for the movie.
Don't let the pop-punk and funny lines fool you, this movie is going to be 10 shades of violent. If you happened to come across the red-band Hit Girl trailer you're fully aware of this. Hopefully the full movie won't get chopped up and watered down before it hits theaters, but I can't speak for the MPAA. What I can be sure of is this movie looks like its going to deliver on all the same levels as the comic book.

I'm really excited to see this movie. But I feel like that trailer makes it look like a kids movie. The Hit Girl one is brutal.
